LINDA MANN - PRESIDENT & CEO Linda Mann is a seasoned marketing communications professional with diverse public relations experience. A strategic thinker, excellent writer and media placement specialist, Mann has developed comprehensive public relations programs for a wide range of clients during her career. From 1977 to 1987, Mann worked at John Walsh Associates, ultimately as VP, handling high-profile golf, tennis and track-and-field events, including the Colgate-Dinah Shore, Colgate Triple Crown, Colgate Masters and Colgate Women's Games. At JWA she worked also on the Cutty Sark Menswear Awards, Finlandia Vodka, Baron Philippe de Rothschild Wines, ArtExpo, Davidoff of Geneva Tobacconists and Elizabeth Arden cosmetics. From 1987 to 1997, Mann was VP, then Senior VP of Jody Donohue Associates, one of the foremost fashion/lifestyle PR agencies in the nation, handling Swatch, Almay Cosmetics, Echo Design Group, Spiegel Catalog and Speedo, as well as several projects for the Italian Trade Commission, the Commercial Office of Spain, Montres et Bijoux Geneve and The Humane Society of New York. In 1997, Mann and her JDA colleague, Joan Deignan, bought the company and renamed it Deignan/Mann, Inc. During the five-year partnership, their client roster included Kids "R" Us, Essence Magazine, Girls Rule!, Loehmann's, Body Central Health Center, D.Esse Spa, Matthew David Events, Delacorte Press and Rizzoli Publishing, as well as fashion designers Bob Mackie, Donald Deal, Michael Faircloth, Haneza, Donna Haag and Sunny Choi. In 2002, Mann launched Mann Media, Inc., representing Loehmann's, Swatch, Body Central, D.Esse Spa, Sabon NYC, and Moreschi Shoes.The new agency continues to specialize in fashion, beauty, home, health, publishing and lifestyle public relations and has added new services such as media training, website design and graphics, as well as logo and brand development. New York City-born and raised, Mann attended Brooklyn College and The New School for Social Research. She has studied French and Italian at Alliance Française and Parliamo Italiano respectively. A movie and theater buff, fanatic reader and would-be gardener, Mann lives in Greenwich Village and Quogue. She is a member of Women in Communications, and she works regularly with a number of charities, including the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO), Gilda's Club, American Diabetes Association, Lighthouse International, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York.
